New in Profit 4

General functionality

Support of ISO 27001:2022

After CSRD, we deliver another standard type of Control framework in Profit 4: ISO 27001:2022. This ISO 27001 is known as the international standard when it comes to information security within an organisation.

We provide the controls from the ISO as reporting requirements within this standard type of Control framework. So from now on, you can get started right away to get this ISO certification!

Control framework

After the release of Control framework with Profit 3, we implemented some nice improvements for Profit 4. Some adjustments:

  • From now on, you can import reporting requirements, control measures and control measure combinations! This is a lot faster than creating them separately via the New button.
  • It is now possible, using multiselect, to select multiple reporting requirements at the same time. This allows you, for example, to add a script at once or set the rules to 'not applicable'. You now no longer have to do this per reporting requirement, which also saves a lot of time!
  • In addition, a lot of Profit functionality has been brought to InSite, which means you can now arrange many things on InSite too! Examples include the control measures. You can now view and create these conveniently on InSite. The Risk portal page, among other things, is available for this purpose. You can also create new control framework rules on InSite, within a control framework. You can do this through the new Quality management portal page. This is a central portal for all open control frameworks. The control frameworks ISO 27001 and CSRD issued as standard are, of course, already on here

Note!
T
he above and other new InSite pages fall under two new page types: Quality management and Control measures. Before you can use the pages in InSite, these two types of pages must be activated separately in the site properties.

Information pill also in Profit

In the previous version, we introduced the handy information pill in InSite, a perfect tool to show your own explanation per field. The information pill is now also available in Profit! You set this up the same way, namely through the Management tool.

The information pill in InSite is now visible when you move the mouse over the field, no need to click the (i) button. Moreover, the information pill can include a link to a site, for example, a link to your own customer portal.

More control with the Authorisation Auditor

The Authorisation Auditor prevents users from being members of any particular combination of user groups. In each case, it is a combination of two user groups, for example HRM application management and Payroll application management. By excluding this combination, you prevent employees from being members of both groups and gaining too much 'power' in Profit. This solution allows you to better monitor the segregation of duties in the organisation.

You first determine which combinations of user groups are not allowed. You then generate an audit that allows you to identify and resolve the current 'conflicts' in authorisation. After you recorded the combinations, it is no longer possible for anyone to become a member of the user groups in the combination.  For example, suppose you have defined a combination of the user groups HRM application management and Payroll application management. If a user is a member of HRM application management, then this user cannot become a member of Payroll application management.

Selecting recent value in a field

In Profit 3, we introduced 'Type and search', which allows you to fill fields quickly and requires the mouse less often. A nice feature has been added here: You will now see the last-chosen values at the top of the search list (maximum 10 values). So your favourites are displayed automatically.

This works in New wizards, property screen and entry layouts in Profit and InSite.

More great functionality

  • Scheduled task 'Process workflow tasks conditionally' every hour
The scheduled task Process workflow tasks conditionally can now be scheduled several times a day! You can select to do this every hour of on four set times a day. This will speed up the lead time of workflows with workflow conditions of the Conditional type (via scheduled task)!
