UpdateConnector Onboarding

With the new UpdateConnector Onboarding (HrOnboarding), you can start the Onboarding workflow. If the application process in your organisation takes place through an external system, use the UpdateConnector to both copy the applicant's data into Profit and start the Onboarding workflow. You don't have to type the data into InSite yourself, which saves a lot of time. And the workflow is started automatically, so the onboarding process is secured.

Integration with Federal Learning Account (Belgium)

Employers in Belgium with at least 20 employees must comply with the obligation to offer five training days (known as courses in Profit) every year and keep accurate records of the corresponding data. For this, the Federal Learning Account (FLA) is an essential link.

With Profit 4, we introduce a brilliant FLA integration that allows employee data, education law and training to be delivered to the Federal Learning Account. The employee's balances are managed in the Federal Learning Account. Through the link, Profit retrieves the employee's balances. After attending the course, Profit links this back to the Federal Learning Account and the employee's balances are updated. This way, the data is always up-to-date!

In addition, this version also offers the following features for managing courses:

  • Recording, modifying and deleting courses via InSite (ESS and MSS)
  • Registering collective courses in InSite
  • Tracking and understanding training balances
  • Integration of Course management in CRM to HRM

Applicant assessment

Assessing job applicants has now become even more enjoyable in Profit 4! For example, when creating a vacancy in InSite, you can now set assessment criteria directly.

We have also added some additional useful functionalities:

  • The 'Reviewer' check mark is now enabled by default when you add a manager to a vacancy. This makes it even easier to involve the right people as reviewers.
  • In the 'Responsible person' view, multi-select is now available, allowing you to select multiple responsible parties at the same time.

Faster and easier workflow 2.0

In Profit 3, we already made sure that via a setting in the workflow editor, you can determine that someone will come directly to the adjust page instead of the show page. So the user does not have to click on Adjust, as this is done automatically. This is not only useful for workflows in which you usually want to make an adjustment immediately, but also very nice for people who are not familiar with AFAS workflows. You no longer need to search for the Adjust button; the fields to be adjusted will be displayed right in front of you. Using the actions on the right, you can save your changes and perform the action immediately. That saves the necessary mouse clicks.

This was already possible in all own file item types and in the Applicant assessment (Profit) type, but we have also made this possible in the following workflows with Profit 4:

  • Commuting survey (-163)
  • Vehicle odometer reading (-162)
  • Interview cycle: this is now possible for the type of file items Baseline (-77), Objective interview (-74), Progress interview (-75) and Appraisal interview (-76)
  • Supplement applicant data (-115)
  • Wet Verbetering Poortwachter (Eligibility for Permanent Incapacity Benefit (Restrictions) Act) (-50)

Optimisations Onboarding

We gave the onboarding process a polish with some nice adjustments. You can read them here:

  • The following changes have been implemented in the workflow:

-44 Application (Profit) has been renamed 'Application without onboarding (Profit)'.

-44 Application with email portal access (Profit) has been renamed to 'Application onboarding with email (Profit)'.

-44 Application without email portal access (Profit) has been renamed 'Application onboarding without email (Profit)'.

-164 Applicant portal access (Profit) The tasks for registering portal access and sending the email are now sequential. Both tasks have the condition 'Always', meaning they are always performed. This makes the process of changing the email address and resending it smoother.

-173 Applicant assessment (Profit) The destination of the task 'Applicant assessment' has been changed to 'Responsible person for vacancies and replacement'. In addition, the 'Reject' action has been removed completely.

  • When you start onboarding from the applicant master card, you will now automatically go to the 'Application choice onboard applicant' page. As a result, application details are now also neatly copied during onboarding.
  • We have made the 'Adjust' button available on OutSite. This means that if you reject a personal document, the applicant on OutSite can now make adjustments directly and resubmit the document.
  • The 'planned deletion date' is now automatically populated for applicants created from onboarding. You can read how to subsequently remove applicants here.
  • The authorisation of applicants on the Onboarding overview page is now through the 'Applicant' data filter and no longer through 'HRM Employees'.
  • With the 'HRM file items applicants incl. confidential' page, based on the applicant authorisation, you have all file items submitted to an applicant in one overview.

You can also find the changes in the releasenotes.

Multiple types of leave for additional paid parental leave

If, in addition to statutory paid parental leave, you have a CLA/employer scheme for paid parental leave, you can use leave type Additional paid parental leave (NL) which we introduced in Profit 3.

From Profit 4 onwards, you can now add multiple leave types for additional paid parental leave.

If you use multiple leave types for additional paid parental leave, after one year, the remaining balance of 9 weeks of statutory paid parental leave and/or the remaining balance of 4 weeks from the first additional paid parental leave pot is automatically converted to the second additional paid parental leave pot in order of leave priority.

Through a manual leave correction, balance can always be converted from one leave type to another (if required).

Optimisation Courses

We have implemented several optimisations for recording courses with the employee:

  • It is now possible to record, modify and delete courses and collective courses via InSite (ESS and MSS).
  • We have changed the name of the 'Course' field to 'Type' and the field is no longer mandatory.
  • We added the 'Description' field. This field is freely fillable.
  • We did make it mandatory to fill at least one of the 'Type' and/or 'Description' fields.

  • The data set has been extended with the new function field 'Name'. This field contains the name of the course from CRM.

More great functionality

  • SD Worx - Moving field
In the contract properties, the Group SD Worx field has been moved from Employment level to Contract. This means you can now change the field without reporting an employee out of service. When creating a new contract in Profit, this field is now also editable.
