Temporary job and timetable change

In more and more organisations, agreements are made with employees about a temporary increase in hours, working temporarily in a different department or a temporary position allocation line. With this great new functionality, you have the ability to use InSite to define a temporary job and timetable change with an effective date and end date. Parental leave through a timetable change is also a temporary change.

Advantages:

  • A new job or timetable line is immediately created in which the employee returns to the old situation.
  • When returning to the old situation, the (new!) Assess follow-up to temporary timetable/job workflow is automatically started. You can use two new alerts.
  • There are new profiles to change both the job and the timetable (i.e., you change an existing line rather than adding a new line).
  • The staffing overview is up-to-date.
  • Leave entitlements are correctly determined.
  • The agreements made are recorded.
  • Linked applications also receive the future change.

 

For the Assess expiring contract workflow, a new standard action is available, that is, Process workflow. Assessing an expiring contract is no longer necessary when reporting leaving employment or granting a contract and therefore you can now process the Assess expiring contract workflow automatically

 

Workflow destination manager at the start date

Through theTemporary job and Timetable change functionality, it is possible to place employees in a temporary position for a certain period of time. This may also cause the employee to temporarily fall under a different manager. By means of the new workflow destinations Manager at the start date, tasks (e.g. leave requests) will go directly to the correct manager.

 

Frequent travel

With frequent travel, you have the option to save a journey as a favourite. For example, you can create a frequent journey for commuting or for the three other offices where you are regularly expected. Frequent travel has made the process of submitting travel claims a lot easier!

When creating a travel expense claim, you can now choose a location from Profit for the departure or arrival address. First, create the locations in General / Location / Location

 

 

 

 

 

Additional leave entitlements 

Employees may be entitled to Extra leave based on job type, age or years of service. This functionality has been further expanded and now you can also assign Additional leave entitlements based on:

  • Number of years until state pension date (AOW-date)
  • Year of birth
  • Age and year of birth

In addition, the description of the additional leave Year of birth (pro rata at 57 years of age) under the Construction activation has been changed to Older construction site employees.

 

Paid parental leave

The Dutch Paid Parental Leave Act (Wet betaald ouderschapsverlof) will come into effect on 2 August 2022 and therefore both parents will be partially paid for 9 weeks during the child's first year of life. In Profit 21, we provide a standard portal for my parental leave. In addition, we provide standard profiles for paid and unpaid parental leave.

 

 

Profiles and contexts

In Profit 21, a number of profiles and contexts are included by default. The big advantage of this is that if we change something in the default context of, for example, a Starting work profile, it will have an immediate effect and you will not need to do nearly anything yourself. We deliver many default contexts for the Starting work profile including for the Tax Agencies.

We also supply default profiles for the type of profiles:

  • Employee claim
  • Summary claim
  • Timetable change

     

     

     

    Wet verbetering poortwachter forms based on documents

    The WVP is fully safeguarded in Profit with alerts and workflows. You can now generate the forms for the UWV through the workflow based on documents (instead of reports). This will immediately give you a Word document with the details of the employee in question. You can still change this document (whether this is allowed can be determined in the configuration). Ultimately, you get a PDF file that can be digitally signed by, for example, the manager, the employee and possibly the company doctor. The PDF file is saved in the absence file.  

     

    Are you already working with the workflows linked to the Wet Verbetering Poortwachter? Report generation will continue to work as usual. You decide if and when to switch to the new solution.

     

    Selection model Dashboard

    This dashboard gives the HR manager insight into the use of the selection model in the organisation. You can, for example, see which ones are popular and which ones are not. You also have insight into changes, balances, the sources used and the balances per period. Finally, you see the hours used to finance certain goals.

     

    Leave based on additional timetable hours

    More and more schemes make provisions for the possibility of accruing extra leave by structurally scheduling more hours than the number of contract hours for which the employee is paid. The employee can then take the accrued leave at a later date.

    In Profit 21, the functionality has been further expanded so that you can also set the leave calculation to workable hours or days excluding holidays.

     

     

     

     

    Partena link (Belgium) 

    AFAS now also supports the Partena social-accounting secretariat, which means that employers who work with Partena can also have the payroll processing done through Partena.  You deliver from AFAS the ERP file, the KLOK (CLOCK) file and the timetable file.  Partena processes the payroll and returns the pay slips and calculated data. You can provide the payslips via AFAS through, for example, email or via AFAS Pocket.

     

    Sustainable employability HBO

    The HBO CLA has a scheme for sustainable employability. The goal of such a scheme is to keep employees healthy and motivated throughout their careers. In Profit 21, we have automated this scheme!

     

    More great functionality

    • Add locations
      You can now link locations to an employer. The employer's employees can use the locations when submitting a claim for travel expenses.  You always have the Home location that is used to enter the employee's home address in the claim for travel expenses.  
      The Make employer available as location field allows you to create the employer's address directly as a location and link it to the employer. You create the other locations via General / Location / Location and, next, you can link them to the employer.
       
    • Trial calculation available for Job change and Transfer
      The already existing Trial calculation option has now also been added to the 'Job change' and 'Transfer' profiles.
       
    • Providing values for the 'Hours' source for the selection model via Import or UpdateConnector
      You can now enter values for the 'Hours' source via HRM/Management / Import employee payroll / Selection model or via the UpdateConnector HrSelection model.
       
    • Expansion of the delegation model
      The delegation categories have been expanded so you can manage even more workflows through the delegation model.

     

    • For the Training request (Profit) file item type, the Employee training delegation category has been added.
    • The workflows of the Buy Leave (Profit) and Sell leave (Profit) file item types have been added to the Employee leave delegation category.
    • The workflows of the Assess expiring contract (Profit) file item type have been added to the Employee contract delegation category.

     

    • Digital signing in Close employment workflows
      This only applies in environments with the Multiple employments activation. You can now also add the Sign attachment(s) in the workflows of the Close employment (Profit) file item type. in the workflows of the Close employment (Profit) file item type.
       
    • ABP-Loyalis/Change of IPAP 2 year alert before state pension date (fully unfit for work) (Profit)
      This new alert is intended to identify that an employee is insured for total disability and will reach the state pension age in 2 years.
       
    • At the expense of informal care 65+ (Acerta and SD Worx) (Mantelzorg 65+ ten laste) (Acerta en SD Worx)
      At the employee/agency level, the At the expense of informal care 65+ has been added. This allows you to define that the employee is an informal caregiver based on the applicable tax rules.
       

    • With the new analysis Journalising reconciliation with calculated wage components (incl. employer authorisation) (Profit)  you can check the reconciliation between the calculated wage components and general ledger accounts.
