Extending the payroll processing schedule

Part of the Payroll year-end transition is manually adding the payroll processing schedules for the new year. This is now no longer necessary. You can now have the payroll processing schedules generated automatically for the new year.

Copying data in relation to new subemployment

When a new subemployment is added, many data items must be copied across manually to the new subemployment. This process has been improved. When you add a new subemployment to expand or replace, Profit will copy across the following data:

  • Position
  • Organisational unit
  • Cost centre
  • Cost unit
  • Educational institution

End of employment optimisation

The Last working day field has been added. ^You can enter a value when you report an employee as having left his/her employment. A new alert is also available for this field: Employee/employment relationship: Last working day (Profit). This alert indicates that it is the last working day of your colleague.

You can now also report the end of employment of the employee if there are already future salary, contract, timetable or job lines. When these were present, you could not report the end of employment of the employee. You needed to first delete all lines manually. This is now no longer necessary. Profit will delete automatically the future lines when reporting the end of employment of the employee.
