CSRD

CSRD (Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive) will have to be adopted by many companies in the coming years. But how do you start with this?

AFAS itself has already gained considerable experience in establishing CSRD for the 2023 annual report. We have made the CSRD functionality available with Profit 3 so that you can get started with this yourself! This functionality is a standard provided control framework.

Control framework

The new Control framework menu item allows you to capture data to make certain requirements demonstrable. This includes ISO and other certifications.

CSRD is an example of a standard provided control framework, but you can also configure one yourself for a process applicable to your business. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Determine location of digital signature yourself

A common wish is for people to decide themselves where the digital signature is placed on a document. We made this a reality. The administrator now determines the location of the digital signature in the environment settings! You decide whether the 'digital stamp' will be on the first or last page of the signed PDF, and where on the page.

This functionality is not yet readily available from Profit 3. Follow this page to see when the functionality becomes available.

 

 

Show or hide custom fields based on a condition

With conditional logic on fields, you have the ability to conditionally hide and/or show custom fields in Profit, InSite and OutSite. In Pocket, this will be available as from Pocket version 2.18. This way you can make a field mandatory and visible, for example, if the selected condition is met.

 

 

 

Password-free login using passkeys

Passkeys offers a super-secure way of logging in without the need for a password, and we are going to support this for the AFAS Online portal. This functionality is available as from August 6, 2024.

With passkeys, authentication takes place through your device, e.g. your laptop or mobile phone. You don't need to install a separate app for this. When logging in, you will soon have three ways to use passkeys:

  • Use your computer for authentication.
  • Use a password manager for authentication.
  • Use your mobile phone for authentication.

 Advantages:

  • Two-factor authentication is not necessary.
  • Phishing is no longer possible. The passkey is stored in a way not accessible to the user. So you cannot provide your passkey to anyone else, even if you wanted to.
  • There’s no need to make up or remember passwords.

Nothing will change in the existing ways of logging in. If you want to switch to passkeys, you do it at a time that suits you!

Dragging and dropping fields in the import wizard

In the import wizard, you link fields to be imported to Profit fields. You can now do this again quickly and easily by dragging the import fields onto the Profit fields. With this, a frequently-cited wish has become reality.
