More possibilities for a cool site!
As from Profit 8, you can use Openindex for searching on OutSite instead of Google Site Search because the support of Google Site Search by Google has ended. We have found a great (Dutch!) partner in Openindex for searching in OutSite.
To activate searching in OutSite, it is sufficient to select the Search field in the properties of the site. Further set-up is not required. The new search method uses the Openindex communication profile. This communication profile will be supplied unblocked. You do not have to do anything in relation to this. Searching via Openindex is only being supported on AFAS Online.
The InSite menu has a new choice, that is, AFAS Online.nl. If you have switched to the new sign-on method, you can go quickly to My account on www.afasonline.nl with this. You can maintain various data items here such as maintaining your own account. You can, for example, change your telephone number here. This is not possible if you sing on via single-sign on.
The choices in this menu have (slightly) different names now, but the functionality has remained the same. The icons will always use the colour of the text. In this example, white text and white icons.
The OutSite menu now also contains icons and the menu item names have been changed.
You can now change the title and subtitle of a portal page through page properties. This is also possible if the parts for the title and subtitle are not on the page.
It is important that these fields are completed correctly. The title, after all, is displayed on the tab in the browser. These fields can also be indexed by search engines.
You can insert fields (tags) in the Editor for displaying the name of the signed on user. One tag has been added here, that is, [User's prefix]. Add the new tag where required by using the button bar of the Editor.
This will ensure that a name such as "Van Graaf" can be displayed correctly by using a combination of [User's prefix] + [Surname].
You can now use the Exo font in InSite and OutSite.
There is a new overview that lists all calendar appointments, that is, Invited calendar appointments unauthorised. All calendar appointments of all employees will be displayed. This is very useful if, for example, you want to see the complement of all course locations with all participants. Filter authorisation does not apply.
In a reaction to a dossier item you can directly insert an emoticon. Type a colon followed by a letter and click on the emoticon you want to use.
