Notifications on standard file pages

On InSite, notifications arise when the user needs to be informed or alerted. These notifications are issued automatically and cannot be maintained by yourself. For example, when a sales relationship to be created already seems to exist. From now on, these informative and alert notifications are more visible on standard file pages and have a uniform layout. Also, notifications no longer appear in the table of contents. 

Informative notifications have been given a fixed blue layout and alert notifications an orange layout. You come across them on standard file pages in two forms: 

  • A fixed message on the page. It is immediately present when you open the page. They are usually at the top of the page like this at a specific section. 
  • A notification generated from entered data. The notification arises in the form of a toaster notification (see below). This form occurs only for create and customise pages.

This new notifications are currently implemented on a number of standard file pages. In Profit 8, this will be implemented for all standard file pages.

Comparisons when merging applicants

If you have enabled the standard file pages setting in InSitefor the file item type Merge applicant, you will have a comparison on this page. In the comparison, you can quickly see the differences between two data. You can view all data side by side (source, target and result) or show only the differences. This way, you assess more efficiently whether the change is approved and the applicants can be merged.
