These first AI integrations in InSite and OutSite are a fact! AI at AFAS is known by the collective name Jonas.
The use of AI makes it faster and easier to write a response to a workflow. In fact, our AI integration takes the writing work off your hands. Of course, you yourself remain responsible for the content of the response. You can have a workflow or the responses summarised by Jonas, or you can give commands yourself. Maybe you already use ChatGPT and this is similar. Using the buttons, you can shorten or lengthen the text in no time and the style (businesslike, friendly, etc.) can also be adjusted automatically. Jonas can automatically perform an AI task for you in a workflow. As a user, you will see the result of the AI analysis appear in the form of a text block. You don't have to do anything for this, the AI text appears automatically! Take advantage of the generated summary, analysis, conclusion, etc. You can optionally re-generate an AI text and browse through the various 'versions' of the answer. Of course, you remain responsible for the correct interpretation and application of the AI texts. As a user, you can also rate AI texts with or with .
The AI texts do not 'just appear' in your workflows, the administrator builds them in himself through the workflow editor. You write a Jonas command (prompt), using documents and fields from the workflow. Based on users' ratings, you will automatically receive feedback that will allow you, the administrator, to improve and refine the Jonas job. You also determine per file item type whether the AI texts will eventually be visible to the submitter or destination of the file item. So it is not the case that everyone sees the generated texts, this is entirely up to you.
Via the General / Jonas / Jonas insight function, you have insight into Jonas use, both in workflow responses and Jonas commands. Users' ratings with or with also show up here, so you can quickly see which commands are working well and which ones you still need to work on. This allows you to incrementally optimise the Jonas commands in your workflows.
You determine the styling of default buttons (such as Adjust, Cancel, Next and Previous) yourself in the InSite and OutSite themes. We have simplified the settings for styling this component! As of now, the buttons have a standard look and feel, but you can adjust the colour. View the checklist for more information.
