New in Profit 5

General

Change logging expanded

You record exactly which data users create, change or delete in Profit through change logging. Logging is not automatic, but you decide which data you keep track of. This gives you control and insight. From now on, you can also log changes for purchase requests, purchase orders, cost centres (financial) and items. Check the Help Centre to see which tables you can enable this functionality on.

Quickly create an import template

Quickly create an import template based on an import definition. This will give you a template in the form of an Excel file with all the fields to be imported listed. This takes into account activations and other settings that affect the import definition. The import template therefore contains 1-on-1 the fields in the import definition. A great tool if you are starting a new import!

Control framework optimisations

Some useful improvements have been made within the control framework for Profit 5!

For example, it is now possible to generate the Declaration of applicability report from the properties of the control framework line. Two types of file items have also been added:

  • Question from accountant
  • Question from audit

These types of file items also have a workflow that is also supplied.

Even more AI in the workflow

Jonas can automatically perform an AI task for you in a workflow as from Profit 4. As a user, you will see the result of the AI analysis displayed in the form of a text block. We naturally immediately asked Jonas if it could be even better and took the appropriate action. The following improvements have been implemented:

  • When analysing a file item/workflow, Jonas can now also include all attachments in Microsoft Word, .pdf and .txt formats. You decide whether you want this by inserting the Attachments prompt in the prompt.
  • Have you created a prompt? Test it immediately on the basis of an existing file item!
  • You will now find the linked documents under the Sources action.

More great functionality

  • Filtering by field in a profile context
Setting up a profile for InSite has become that little bit easier again. If you open a context of a profile, you can now easily filter using the field list and therefore the field to set up will be instantly displayed!
