Cookies are written when OutSite is used. Now, you can inform the user about this through a cookie statement and a related page. If you have set this up, the OutSite visitor will see the following statement on the screen:

You cannot change this text. The visitor can continue to click using the Want to know more? link to an information page. You must create this page. The statement will be displayed during every site visit unless the site visitor clicks it shut.

Note: We only use technical and functional cookies for InSite and OutSite. This means that this is not linked to cookie legislation or the GDPR. Cookies of other parties may, however, be saved if you use external parties on the site. AFAS has no influence on this. These external parties may, for example, be Google Analytics or Universal Analytics, plug-ins from external parties or Google Fonts.

To set this up, you must sign on as the site administrator. First, create the information page and link it as a special page. special page. You can determine the colour of the bar and the font through the theme: Other / pop-up component.

Once the special page has been linked, site visitors will be shown the cookie statement. If a page has not been linked, a cookie statement will not be displayed either.

InSite entry layout tabs

Add yourself additional tabs with useful information!

You can now use several tabs in the header and footer in entry layouts in InSite. You can add the tabs through General / Management / Entry layout. If the entry layout has several tabs, a group with the tabs will be created automatically.

If there is one tab, a group is not required and the tab will be simply displayed.

You set up the extra tabs in the entry layout in Profit Windows, this functionality hasn't changed.

Translate a document

Now, the Translations button is available with regard to a new document (even when you have not signed on as the site administrator).  You can use this to, for example, translate the title and summary of the document.

You can also put the text in a document in different languages (this is functionality that is already available). To ensure this is possible, you include a text box in the document template for each language with a language restriction. For example, you include a text box with the English language restriction for English. This means that only this text box must be displayed in documents on the English site. Also translate all components under the Translation button and you will have a fully English document.

InSite properties

The Settings tab has been added to General / InSite & OutSite / Site. The changes are:

The Readspeaker and Company.info tabs no longer apply. You will now find these components on the new Settings tab.

The Settings tab has been added to OutSite. You will find the Readspeaker fields and the Use search within the site setting (you can activate searching through OpenIndex through this). The Readspeaker tab no longer applies.

Properties in relation to the new sign-on method

If you have switched to the new sign-on method, specific settings in General / InSite & OutSite / Site are no longer relevant. The following issues only apply to InSite.

The following fields no longer apply on the General tab: The site in only accessible to signed on visitors and  Signing on with username / password sign-on data allowed.

The Message templates and Identity providers tabs no longer apply.

Translate profile name

You can submit new file items through Pocket as from Profit 7. To ensure this is possible, you created a profile in Profit that is linked to the file item type. You can now translate the name of the Profile so that the button for a new file item is also displayed in the correct language in Profile in a foreign language.

You can see the Service notification file item type in the example. The name of the related profile has been translated. The action will be displayed translated in Pocket.
