Even more options for a great site!
Use the view templates to determine the layout (use of images, font, the fields in the overview, etc.). Link for each overview the correct template and you will be done. The overview will always look as it should!
Below you will find an example of the news view. An additional effect has been applied in this view: the image is 'lifted up' when you hover your mouse on it.
The superbly formatted InSite pages that you may have seen in a template at some time or another are now available in Profit. These pages are all styled using the same standard, can be viewed at a press of a button and by pressing a button again be published live.
Below you can see an example of a page 'before' and a page 'after'. As the Site Administrator you can see the effect immediately by using the Show AFAS version button.
Do you want to use the AFAS version from now on? Click Publish AFAS version. This will publish the AFAS version as a live page and your own 'old' page will be overwritten.
The number of lines can be displayed by default in overviews in InSite. If you apply a filter, the number of lines will also be changed.
In order not to negatively influence performance when counting lines, counting will be stopped at 75 lines. If there are more lines, the counter will display 75+.
To display the number of lines in an overview, open, as the Site Administrator, the properties of the overview and enable Show the number of lines. You can set the colour and background colour of the line counter yourself through the theme..
If you have a site in English, German or French, most texts will be automatically translated (for example, views, fields, etc.). Some texts, however, will stay in Dutch, for example, issues that you have added yourself. Profit cannot translate these automatically. You can, however, add these missing translations yourself so that you can have a fully translated site and your (foreign) colleagues can get started without worries. This is existing functionality in Site Management but the Translations button was not available on every page. Now, this is the case and you can supplement your translations everywhere.
Translate your site into all languages that are available in Google Translate. You can do this by pushing a button once, that is, by enabling translation in the properties of the site. Please bear in mind that all information on the page to be translated will be sent to Google Translate including privacy sensitive information.
You can indicate through a language restriction that a specific site component may only be displayed on a site with a specific language. For example, you have a text block with an English description: you can indicate with a language restriction that this text block may only be displayed on English sites. The text block, for example, will not be displayed on the Dutch site. You can now apply a language restriction on all page components..
The following Google fonts are now available in InSite and OutSite:
Jura, Ranchers, Calligraffitti, Barlow and Pridi
Make your OutSite pages even more accessible by having them read aloud through Readspeaker. The page to be read aloud must be accessible externally. Readspeaker reads the entire page aloud in the language of the site except the menu.
You must be a Readspeaker customer for this. Record your Readspeaker account details in the properties of the site in Profit Windows. Next, add the Readspeaker plug-in to each page to be read aloud.
