Paid parental leave is a WAZO benefit of 70% of the daily wage and is applied for and paid after taking the leave (in parts). As from Profit 22, it is now possible to make the WAZO claim for paid parental leave (in relation to birth) through a UWV message from Profit. Within this context, you have the option of submitting one WAZO application and two Payment requests per child.
The current remaining parental leave is visible in the employee's properties. The Current taken and Currentlyremaining fields have been added to the view on the Remaining parentalleave tab in the employee's properties.
On InSite, the Taken field has been changed to remainder in weeks in My parental leave and Employee parental leave. Previously, the remainder was shown in hours. As from Profit 22, the Leave entitlement, Taken and Remainder are now in weeks.
In addition, three new alerts have been delivered that alert you to the fact that an employee has had paid parental leave and/or additional birth leave and for which a WAZO claim can be submitted. These alerts can be copied and changed. This refers to the following alerts:
The operation of the Deletion planned date field has changed as from Profit 22. In this field, the date was determined immediately when the applicant was created. This date did not change thereafter.
As from Profit 22, the date entered in this field will always be 1 year after the application date after creating the applicant. This date will not change until all the applicant's applications have the 'Rejected' status. When all applications have the 'Rejected' status, the date in the field changes. Two options apply. One year may be saved based on the My data check box:
It is therefore important to reject applicants through the workflow or to enter a value in the Date rejected field in Profit.
We have switched to the latest version of the absenteeism standard for the Zorg van de Zaak, Arbo Unie and ArboNed occupational health and safety services and some smaller occupational health and safety services. In addition, the following optimisations have been implemented:
In addition, all employees who are submitted to the occupational health and safety service and have current absences are checked to see if the manager is still up-to-date. If the manager is up to date, nothing happens. If an employee's manager is no longer up-to-date, the employee's new manager will be sent to the occupational health and safety service.
We have expanded our partnership with Valicare: you can now also do a Right to work check through Valicare. Based on a residence document, it is determined whether a person is allowed to work in the Netherlands. After the feedback from Valicare, the data is recorded in Profit.
The calculation of pension premiums may be affected by unpaid leave (parental leave) and by a generation scheme. For pension providers, this is not always transparent. As a result, a calculated premium may differ from the premium as the pension provider would calculate it. To provide more insight into this, the UPA has been amended as follows as from 2023:
As from 01-01-2023, several collective labour agreements will switch to the UPA
In addition, Appel took over the pension administration for Beton from Centric as from 01-04-2022.
The My Parental Leave portal has been supplemented with maternity leave. Employees can now apply for maternity leave in addition to registering a child, (additional) birth leave and (un)paid parental leave.
